His birthplace was Kagawa prefecture, so he might have not be familiar to Koyasan. So we came to the same conclusion of you. So I worshiped something holy from beggining and also I was wishing that she rests in peace and her soul can mix well at them. Though this may be a way of persuation or satisfaction for myself. So this solemness may be different from Zen spiritual. It may be near to "tremble"( 異空間におののく).sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03914623584143922445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3077698217702274896.post-8388536902438496462010-12-22T18:12:58.421+09:002010-12-22T18:12:58.421+09:00Thank you for comment,Cosmos.

I feel that the big cedars in the mystic forest are very solemn also, many spirits inhabit in them. I agree with you Sara, to saying that it is good to live in Nara, though I did not know the number of suicide in Nara prefecture was the lowest in Japan.

By the way,did you take a photo of the picture of kobo-daisi on the wall?

Have a good Christmas. Compare to it, Koyasan didn't change but my feeling of respect changed so much, though it is natural.sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03914623584143922445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3077698217702274896.post-11717307853637377972010-12-19T12:40:18.557+09:002010-12-19T12:40:18.557+09:00Sarah, it’s not bad to visit Mt. Instead,if you find something beautiful, rich and soothing in that apparent lack of beauty, it’s wabi-sabi.

In the temples of Nara, we often see “shibi”, ornamental ridge-end tiles in the shape of mythical birds which will bring rain to protect the wooden structure of temple from fire and disaster. On Kongobuji’s, there are two water barrels. Can you spot them on the photo of Kongobuji on the sidebar?stardusthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10684501661629146087noreply@blogger.com
